Those sneaky offenders….

It goes like this…. A year ago you got on the scale and …. you gained 10 pounds.

Then we get stuck in the house for months and…it’s the start of summer.

That means it’s mayonnaise season.  There are cookouts, potato salad and pitchers of margaritas.

Now it’s the end of summer and you get on the scale and … oh no…up another 5 pounds.

So, you start your tried and true diet.  The one that has always worked for you.
You stick to it like religion and don’t lose a flippin pound.

Look, before just you put it down to getting older, please consider that there could be other factors at play.

Like weight loss resistance.

It’s a very real thing.

And what causes weight loss resistance is different for every woman.

The good news is once you know what’s causing it, you can it can fix it.

For many women, just switching things up and eliminating inflammatory foods makes all the difference in the world.

For many of my clients, they follow my guided program, cut out junk and remove inflammatory foods.  That helps them break thru weight loss resistance and they start to lose weight again.

However, for some women, just eating clean, anti-inflammatory foods isn’t quite enough.

They might have chronic stress or hormonal imbalances.

For example, when your hormones like cortisol or your sex hormone are out of balanced, it can cause excess belly fat, sleep problems which will affect your ability to lose weight and lots more.

So, what can you do if your hormones are out of balance?

You find to the root cause and fix it.

It could be your gut needs healing; you might need a liver detox, or you might need to learn how to manage your stress.

Truth be told there’s no silver bullet for breaking thru weight loss resistance.  It’s all very personal and every woman is different.

And success is way more than a number on the scale.  It’s about making choices to help you heal, then finding the perfect life-long way to eat that is unique to you and your needs.
