Hot flashes, moodiness, poor sleep, irregular periods…OK…we’re somewhat prepared for those but sore, burning feet?
Can that be caused by menopause as well?
Well just the other night my feet were swollen, achy and felt like they were burning.
I though, what the heck?
As I considered the day, I thought about hot how and humid it was. And I was very active outdoors getting stuff done in the yard. Have I ever told you I don’t like hot weather? Yup I’m one of those. And it really stresses me out. I must admit I wasn’t in the best of moods due to the heat.
I decided to cool my feet on the tile floor, get a big glass of water and take a potassium tablet.
That seemed to help a little.
But I wanted to figure out what could have caused my poor feet to swell up, burn and ache so much.
I did a little research and low and behold, being slightly dehydrated and stress can cause swollen, achy, burning feet.
I also found if I had taken a B-complex vitamin and drank some nettle tea it might have helped.
So now you know. You don’t have to suffer. Just walk on a cool tile floor, have some nettle tea and take potassium and B complex.
Those are certainly easy solutions to a hormone imbalance symptom wouldn’t you say?
What about you? Do you ever experience burning, achy feet. Reply and let me know.
