Moroccan Beef on a Skewer

Prep Time:  10 minutes

Cooking Time:  10 minutes

Yields:  2 people


½ lb. ground beef

2 tbs. chopped fresh flat leaf parsley

2 tbs. chopped fresh mint

2 garlic cloves crushed

3 pinches of Garam Masala

1 tsp. salt

3 tbs. chopped onion

2 wooden skewers (it is best if they are soaked in water for a few hours before using to prevent burning).


Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix together.  Wash your hands but don’t dry them. Gently pack small amounts of the meat mixture around the skewers, forming a 4-inch long sausage shape on each skewer.

Broil or grill for 3-5 minutes, turn and continue cooking for 2-3 more minutes.
