This bone broth recipe is exceedingly simple.
Ingredients:
Leftover cooked bones from previous meals (I store bones from leftovers in my freezer)
Raw meaty bones (like the ones you would give your dog)
Chicken feet (if you can get them)
Handful of sea salt
Put all ingredients all in a slow cooker. Cover with water and add salt. Simmer on low for 2-3 days. Keep adding more water as the broth cooks down.
Note: I like to start my day with a mug of bone broth, then a mug of warm water and then my coffee. I start with the bone broth because we have just gone thru our natural detox while sleeping and our body is best able to absorb all the minerals from the broth . It is also the perfect opportunity for healing to take place in the digestive tract. Click here for a great article about drinking warm water in the morning.
